Join Our Team!

We’re excited to announce that our team is growing! We’re looking for three new employees. Here’s why you should apply…

We’re Hiring!

We’re thrilled to announce that our team is growing. We’re in need of an interior designer, marketing expert, administrative assistant, and more! But why should you be interested in working at Crimson?

Let us introduce ourselves to you!

Crimson By The Numbers

We’re a 12 person team made up of 6 interior designers, 2 procurement specialists, 1 business development coordinator, 1 business manager, 1 CEO, and 1 office assistant.

We’ve been in business for 16 years. Our Design Director has been on staff for 15 years. And many of our other staff members have stayed with us for over 4 years. And it’s no wonder why! We have a one of kind company culture that keeps our clients, and employees, coming back to us year after year.

A Company Culture Unlike Any Other

Giving Back

When Cheryl founded Crimson in 2003, she knew that she wanted the company to be an agent of change in the world. Since then, we’ve donated over $300,000 to charitable organizations in Ohio and around the world. We give a percentage of all client fees to organizations of their choosing, or from our roster of philanthropic partners. We’ve donated to organizations including (but not limited to) Thirst Relief, iBelieve, Pelotonia, Flying Horse Farms, The Valentine Project, and Make a Wish.

Giving back is a corner stone of our company culture. All of our employees are given 8 hours per year to volunteer at any local organization of their choosing. We’ve also recently partnered with Habitat For Humanity and will be participating in a build day as a team, soon.

Our biggest project, though, is our Asia’s Hope home in Chiang Rai, Thailand. In November of 2018 we threw a 200+ person party to raise money for a home for 22 orphaned and abandoned children in Thailand. The entire team pitched in on planning the event, setting up, and tearing down. (They also had plenty of fun.)

Team Initiatives

We pride ourselves on being a team of go-getters and “initiative-takers”. Our team members sit on a number of committees within the company, including Brand Experience, Culture and Spirit, Networking and Business Development, and more. These teams help to develop the “Crimson Experience” both within the company and out in the world. Team members plan our company parties, design our presentation materials, attend networking and philanthropic events, and even determine who our next local charitable partner will be. They make up the fabric of this company so it’s only fitting that they should have a voice in how it moves forward!

We believe that their curiosity about the world makes our team members more creative and well rounded than most. And we do everything in our power to encourage that curiosity!

Members of the team attend High Point twice a year, occasionally go to Atlanta, and visit Chicago and New York for trade shows.

Occasionally we go really big and take them abroad! Last year we took our team to Costa Rica for a week. We visited San Jose, spent a day giving back in a tin village, and then went to the coast where we kicked back and relaxed as a team. We plan on going to Thailand as a group in the not so distant future, too!

We’re a Family

We’re coworkers, yes. But we’re also a family. We spend 40 hours per week together (at least) and we don’t take that for granted. We celebrate our “family” twice a year with a summer party and a Christmas party. We also host “self-care” days for our coworkers. We’re kicking off lunch time dance cardio on Fridays this month (a Culture and Spirit initiative) as well as in-office happy hours, once a month. We celebrate each others’ successes, birthdays, babies, and more. We’re a team that truly does like each other, to the benefit of the company as a whole!

Do You Have What It Takes?

Not every company is a fit for every person. We take hiring a new team member very seriously. All applicants under consideration complete an Enneagram test and occasionally a Strengths Finder test as well! Here are a few things we keep an eye out for:

Positivity and Compassion

Attention to Detail

We value all of these things in our employees and look for these qualities in our candidates! We love the dynamic we have here at our office and can’t wait to add to our work family!

We are a team of volunteers and starting a new initiative in a

  3. I’m impressed, I have to admit. Seldom do I come
across a blog that’s both educative and amusing, and without a doubt, you’ve hit the nail on the
head. The problem is something which not enough folks are speaking
intelligently about. I’m very happy that
I stumbled across this during my search for something concerning this.
