I was born in Paraguay to two Mennonite missionaries… a far cry from the world of luxury interior design. I spent the first seven years of my life surrounded by wild, unfettered beauty. I was taught that the world is so much larger than just ourselves and that we can only gain when we give.
In 2003, I made the decision to take a risk and fulfill my lifelong dream of being a business owner. I wanted to create an interior design firm built on two ideals: the pursuit of beauty and fearless giving. I chose the name “Crimson” to reflect the passion that I feel for this business and for my clients’ projects. In truth, at Crimson we choose projects that we feel passionately about.
Over the last eighteen years, my one-person studio has turned into an eighteen-person team full of visionaries and creatives. Together, we’ve created interiors for individuals, families, and businesses that reflect their passions, hopes, and stories. We take pride in anticipating our clients’ every need and providing the highest level of personal service possible. We’re driven by curiosity, forward thinking design, an unwavering attention to detail, and we love a challenge.
Welcome to our world. Welcome to Crimson.
An amazing community of clients, vendors, and creatives have helped to grow our business from a fledgling, sole proprietorship to the bustling nationally recognized firm that it is today. We feel that it’s only right to pay that success forward. We truly believe that design can change the world and that it’s our privilege to leave the world better than we found it.
Nearly since its inception, Crimson has donated a portion of all client fees to various non-profit organizations. Some of these organizations include, but are not limited to: The Valentine Project, the iBelieve Foundation, Flying Horse Farms, Thirst Relief, Asia’s Hope, Grace Haven, Make a Wish, and the Columbus Council on World Affairs. We ask clients to participate in this process; when you work with us, you’ll be giving back too.
We have donated $300,000+ since 2013 and in 2018 we hosted a charity gala in order to raise money for a new Asia’s Hope home in Chiang Rai Thailand. With a fundraising goal of $150,000, we were able to galvanize our neighbors, friends, clients, and vendors to make our goal before the rainy season. The Asia’s Hope home will be completed by the end of this summer and we plan to contribute financially to its success for many years to come.

I’ve been given so much in my life, and every day I feel fortunate, lucky and blessed, and so I wanted to give back. I do this by bringing greater awareness, and donating to issues we, and our clients, feel are important.
