For this young family, it was important to create a home that included spaces in which they could both thrive. In the front sitting room, we focused on his tastes and interested. We created a masculine space that is warm and inviting, perfect for entertaining his friends.
Modeled after an exclusive cigar club, this sophisticated room draws inspiration from Ralph Lauren’s designs and from our client’s interest in horse racing. We found photographs of historic races and hung them on the walls, surrounding the ornate fireplace. In the kitchen we created a unifying space that was the perfect mix of traditional design and modernity. In the sun room, we created a space for her to entertain. We designed this room with a touch of whimsy in mind. Sage green walls and curtains are in conversation with a fanciful robin’s egg blue rug, making this space perfect for tea with friends, or even a good book by the window.
