Columbus seems to be a hotspot for vibrant summer fun when it comes to all things markets, events, and festivals. Whether you love a relaxing start to your weekend at a farmers market, a bustling craft fair, or a delicious food festival, Columbus has an option for everyone, regardless of age, interests, or location! Here are a few of our notable favorite festivals, markets, and events taking place this summer in Columbus:

Jeni’s Strawberry Jam (Memorial Day Weekend)

Presented by the iconic Columbus-based ice cream shop, Jeni’s, the Strawberry Jam is a festival dedicated to all things strawberry. With specialty strawberry desserts, live music and entertainment, and endless food trucks and vendors, this festival located at Land-Grant Brewing is a great way to kick off your summer. Get your first batch of Ohio strawberries and enjoy a fun afternoon in the heart of Columbus.

North Market (Year-Round)

With two bustling locations, (one in downtown Columbus and the other in Bridge Park of Dublin), the North Market is perfect for a summertime meal or snack during your adventures around Columbus. The market frequently has specialty events, happy hour socials, and fresh new vendors – The Colo Oyster Bar Happy Hour is one you cannot pass up! You can try almost anything at North Market, from bubble tea, donuts, seafood, ice cream, and endless globally influenced dishes.

Dublin Market at Bridge Park (May 3-September 27)

Speaking of Bridge Park, this market is one of the most popular recent additions to the Columbus market sphere. With multiple blocks lined with vendors ranging from arts and crafts, to meals, drinks, and desserts, and even build-your-own-bouquet shops, this lively market is definitely a Columbus favorite. You can also stop by the many Bridge Park storefronts or restaurants while you visit.

Worthington Farmers Market (May-October)

Another notable, popular, and large farmers market famous around Columbus is the Worthington Farmers Market. The summer markets span 100 vendors ranging from fresh fruits and vegetables, local food items, and homemade wellness products. Located in Old Worthington, this market is a great chance to enjoy the charm of Worthington and shop small.

Columbus Book Festival (July 12-13)

This festival is perfect for book lovers, food lovers, music lovers, and all things in between! Located at the Columbus Metropolitan Library, this event showcases 120 featured authors, an enormous book sale, and seemingly endless book-themed vendors. This event is a great way to find your new favorite book, to meet authors for book signings, and try new food trucks along the way!

The Memorial Tournament (May 26-June 1)

This iconic PGA tour event is one of the biggest events of the summer here in Columbus. Hosted at the Muirfield Village Golf Club, this event honors many current and past golf icons and welcomes everyone to a weekend of all things golf. The Memorial Tournament is a great way to have a relaxing, yet exciting, weekend in the sunshine, and is perfect for sports lovers. This is also a great way to honor charities and foundations across Ohio.

Columbus Food Truck Festival (August 16-17)

Taking place in Hilliard, the Columbus Food Truck Festival is known to include nearly 50 food truck vendors of all sorts. This festival will give you the opportunity to try some of the best food trucks in the Midwest. From snacks, to sweets, tasty drinks, and entire meals, this festival has it all! The festival also includes many craft vendors, live music and entertainment, and unique shopping experiences.
