The Crimson Foundation

We extend our commitment to thoughtful spaces beyond our client work.

We partner with Asia's Hope to build homes for orphaned children, creating environments where kids have safety, community, and the foundation to thrive.

To date, we've raised over $300,000 to fund crucial projects, including building shelter and safety walls across Thailand. Our firm also donates 10% of proceeds to support additional children’s health initiatives on a global-scale.

What We Believe

We start with how a space actually gets used, on a Tuesday, in year three, and we design toward that, rather than designing for the photograph. It is why our commercial work feels residential and our residential work holds up to real wear. Developers call it resimercial. We just call it designing for people who are going to be there, loving it, long after we leave.

 

That belief shows up in how we work, too. Not every project needs demolition. We built an entire discipline around furniture, fixtures, and equipment (don’t forget styling and accessories) alone, which means we can transform a lobby, an amenity floor, or an entire home without a permit, a contractor, or a building coming offline. Creating spaces with smaller disruption is a wonderful creative challenge, and after 23 years we are very good at it.
