Every year,Pantone selects “the color of the year” for the upcoming year. (2018’s Pantone color is Ultra Violet). Not to be outdone, other taste making publications and designers declare their owncolors to watch in the year to come. (Elle Decorsuggests that Sage will be the hottest color of the year while Graham & Brown have selected a romantic, soft pink color called “Penelope”.)Here at Crimson, we’ve never been afraid of a little color. In fact, we loveto inject color in our designs. Unexpected, bold shades are particular favorites of ours. Whether we’re painting an entire room or creating a custom sofa, we believe color is nothing to be afraid of.
This year, we’re most excited for Benjamin Moore’s color of the year. Calienteis a bold red, full of warmth and vibrancy. It’s only fitting that a company called “Crimson” should be drawn to this color. After all, we’re named “Crimson” because it’s the color of passion.We’re looking forward to the new year full of adventures, new design trends, and for more passion-fueled designs!
