Today is the Hindi religious spring festival called Holi. It is celebrated mostly in India and Nepal. Every year thousands participate in the festival! Although it is the least religious holiday, it is the most exciting one that exists. The festival has many purposes but first and foremost, it celebrates the beginning of the new season, spring. During this event, participants hold a bonfire, throw colored powder at each other, and celebrate wildly!
