Responsibilities and duties:
- Entry of all credit card transactions and daily reconciliation of accounts for Key Bank and Amex cards.
- Daily reconciliation of Amex and Key credit cards in Studio Designer.
- Monitor activity in Suspense account and request PO’s / receipts and other information needed to process credit card transactions.
- Entry of all accounts payable invoices.
- Produce AP payment reports and edit approvals to finalize.
- Misc AP duties: Vendor inquiries / Other AP follow up / Vendor AP Statements.
- Assist with Time Billing as needed.
- Organization of physical and digital accounting files.
- Balance sheet account reconciliations (nothing bank related).
- Project work.
- Position is slated for Monday through Thursday 9-3. Max of 25 hours/week.
Work experience and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- At least two years’ experience in accounting or a related field.
- Strong customer service and client facing skills.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to read and analyze financial reports.
- Strong understanding of US tax regulations.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in a seated environment for up to 8 hours a day.
- Ability to work on a computer for up to 8 hours a day.
- Ability to use the phone for extended period of time.
