Position Overview: Head of Sales and Marketing

You will lead the charge in driving strategic growth and marketing initiatives to expand Crimson Design Group’s reach and impact in this important role. You’ll own the alignment of sales and marketing efforts, harnessing data and creativity to propel the business forward, generate more leads, and acquire more customers and resulting revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Growth and Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive plan that identifies new markets, optimizes sales funnels, and accelerates revenue generation, working closely with potential clients to close deals.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and building trust, empower the team through consistent communication and support, and develop connections with external partners to create new opportunities and brand awareness.
  • Brand Leadership and Sales Enablement: Oversee marketing campaigns and marketing spend to elevate Crimson’s brand visibility and align with its bold design ethos, and identify new sales channels and techniques to accelerate growth.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making and Sales Optimization: Analyze KPIs related to revenue, brand awareness, and client acquisition to refine strategies for optimal results. This includes identifying opportunities to improve the sales process and increase conversion rates.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Sales Alignment: Manage the marketing team and work across teams to integrate sales, marketing, and operational strategies, ensuring seamless execution and results. Drive revenue by leading marketing and cross-functional initiatives that align teams and close deals.
  • Executive Leadership and Sales Vision: As a key member of the executive team, guide the company’s overall vision and goals, with a particular focus on driving revenue growth and market expansion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years in marketing, sales, or business development, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
  • Proven success in growth-focused roles with measurable outcomes.
  • Experience in the creative industry (design, architecture, or similar) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, project management software, analytics tools, and digital marketing platforms.
