About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented Sales Rock Star to join our growing team. This key role is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities that align with our firm’s strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the interior design industry, excellent communication and networking skills, and a proven track record of success in sales and business development.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and research potential clients in the residential and commercial sectors nationwide. This includes networking, attending industry events, utilizing online resources, and developing targeted outreach strategies.
  • Client Relationship Management: Create, build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, builders, real estate agents, and other key referral sources. Cultivate relationships with potential clients through personalized communication and presentations.
  • Sales Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Qualify leads, prepare proposals and presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Client Journey: This is yours to own.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the interior design industry. Identify potential niches and areas for growth.
  • Marketing Support: Lead and collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing materials, participate in marketing events, and contribute to the firm’s overall marketing strategy.
  • Reporting & Tracking: Maintain accurate records of sales activities within our CRM, track progress towards goals, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Networking & Community Engagement: Actively participate in industry associations, networking events, and community activities to promote the firm and build relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales/business development required, preferably within the design, construction, or real estate industry.
  • Proven track record of success in generating leads, closing deals, and building client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of the interior design process and market.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong networking skills and a passion for building relationships.
  • Knowledge of the Columbus, OH market is a plus.
