Crimson’s Core Values – How do they play out in our workspace?

Founded in 2003 by Cheryl Stauffer, Crimson Design Group is built on the idea that collaboration is what creates authentic, inspiring spaces. The female CEO and award winning designer is passionate about bringing art to life through design by building a team that creates people-inspired spaces that tell their clients’ stories.

To guide the design-forward team at Crimson, the team was founded on four core values: excellence, Crimson spirit, a life well lived, and a growth mindset.

These core values emulate not only what Crimson stands for, but what we as a team aspire to grow towards further. Bringing these values into effect in our workplace happens when we work together as a team to support and cultivate each other’s talents. Here is how we apply our core values in our workplace and how you can too:

Excellence
Takes initiative, dedication, can-do attitude, sense of urgency

With the high level and profile of clientele that we work with at Crimson, we understand how important it is to go above and beyond in all areas. Our proactive team members are efficient in aiding our clientele, each other, and their own needs. Crimson’s designers are focused on developing the design project of our clients’ dreams, perfecting every detail no matter how big or small efficiently.

Our designers’ commitment to their clients is rarely found elsewhere. With designers that build long lasting, genuine relationships with our customers, we have a wide collection of clientele that continue to work with our designers years after their first projects. Our team’s consistent commitment to the satisfaction of our clients is what keeps our clients happy and coming back for more design magic!

Crimson Spirit
Contributes, values everyone, team player

In our Crimson family, we believe that working together and supporting each other is the key to being collectively successful. We often assist fellow team members in their installs among other areas. This ensures that each team member feels valued and supported.

Our keen communication within and beyond the office allows our team to work effectively by maintaining consistency and attention to detail. This not only exists within our team interactions, but stretches into our work with clientele. The Crimson team is a “yes” team. There is a strong culture of lending a hand wherever is needed – the collective whole is more important than our smaller parts. We are and always have been a family-oriented team. It is ingrained in our culture!

Life Well Lived
Fun, optimistic, no drama, servant heart

While Crimson is still considered our workplace, it truly is a family. We support each other, celebrate each other’s successes, support each other through hard times, and enjoy life together. Our team frequently enjoys outings and in-house events, team meals and gatherings, and even our annual end-of-the-year retreat.

Philanthropy is a big part of our mission at Crimson. Our collective, The Crimson Foundation, supports multiple charities, organizations, and foundations across the globe. Not only are we passionate about serving those around us, we believe in serving far beyond our four walls.

Growth Mindset
Ownership thinking, innovative, curious

Important to Crimson is our responsibility to take accountability for our work. We know that we are represented first and foremost by our design work; this drives us to reach for the stars, curiously pursuing the endless limits of our design expertise.

We strive to make our clientele more than happy; excited, thrilled, even overjoyed. This only can be accomplished when we aim for excellence in everything we do. By pushing ourselves outside of our comfort zone, we learn how to grow alongside our clientele and their dream projects. The only way is up!
