Meet Lauren! Lauren is one of our Senior Designers at Crimson. Her favorite corner of her home is the patio as she loves to be outside and soaking up the sunshine. Outside of the office you can find her out and about, jogging around her neighborhood trails, trying new wine bars, breweries and restaurants, or taking her kids to museums and parks!
Strongest Design Skill
“I think it would have to be looking at the project as a whole. So, taking the aesthetic we want for our client and translating that from the space plan to the little details, the furniture, the lighting, etcetera.”
Favorite Project
“That is hard because they’re all great for different reasons, obviously. But there is one residential primary bathroom that stands out just as a beautiful project. There were so many layers of beautiful materials from stone, to wallpaper, to the mirror and lighting in every nook and cranny. So that might be at the top of the list right now”
Favorite Part of Design Process
“I love the start of a project when it’s just fresh and brand new and we’re working on honing in on what the aesthetic is for the client.”
Current Favorite
“Well, now that it’s getting warmer, I’m kind of getting back into my Dark ‘N’ Stormy cocktail mode. So, I have to say the Dark ‘N’ Stormy, right now, is my favorite.”
Dark 'N' Stormy Recipe
- 2 oz Dark Rum
- ½ oz fresh lime juice
- Ginger Beer, to top (about 5 oz)
- Garnish with lime wheel
