Italian Village Luxury Apartments Designed by Crimson Design Group

Lusso South

Crimson Design Group is thrilled to be handling the interior design for Italian Village’s newest project site, The Lusso. Lusso, meaning “luxury” in Italian (hint hint!) is a big indication as to what the final design will look like.

Consisting of eight acres split between 5th Avenue and 3rd & Detroit, Lykens Cos. and Homestead Cos. will break ground at the end of 2021. The north site on 5th Avenue will consist of a four-story building housing 287 units as well as luxury townhomes. Amenities include underground parking, a pool and a two-story amenity building with an elevated park connecting outdoor space with the indoors – a trend that has absolutely flourished since the start of the pandemic.

The south site at 3rd and Detroit will have three and four-story buildings with a total of 135 units. The buildings will have an upscale industrial lux aesthetic, consisting of hotel-like amenities and a modern, industrial design reminiscent of the warehouses that used to inhabit this site. A suburban product in an urban market, the overall design will be timeless and transitional with an emphasis on experience.
