Meet Kenzi: Crimson Design Group’s Newest Intern
We are excited to introduce Kenzi Jackson to the Crimson family and share more about her. Kenzi is originally from Columbus and has enjoyed all things art and design her entire life. As an artist, she is thrilled to be surrounded by designers and beautiful interiors at Crimson.
Kenzi studies Creative Media Production through Arkansas State University’s online program, allowing her to stay in Columbus year-round. Through her studies, Kenzi has cultivated her passion for graphic design, website design, and media production while learning new skills such as data analysis and advertising campaign creation. She plans to complete her bachelor’s program within the year and hopes to continue her education with a master’s degree.
Over her years of digital media creation, Kenzi has enjoyed various freelance and personal design projects. A few of her favorite projects include drawing graphics for the Columbus Blue Jackets “Off The Draw” program, creating merchandise designs for AWIS (Association for Women in Science), and designing theatrical brand packages for performing arts organizations in Ohio.
Kenzi has quite a few hobbies and interests, her most recent ones including hockey games, listening to Columbus-based band Twenty One Pilots, and sci-fi/fantasy books and shows. In her free time, Kenzi enjoys acting and singing, songwriting, journaling and devotionals, hanging out with her dog, and all things art.
Kenzi is the artist and owner of Colors By Kenzi (CBK), a watercolor art business specializing in custom portraits and live event guest paintings. Her experience beginning CBK has greatly improved her skills as a media coordinator, enhancing her competency in website design, social media strategy, and branding.
Kenzi is extremely passionate about the world of art and design thanks to her extensive upbringing in the fine and performing arts. She feels incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to join Crimson Design Group as an intern. Kenzi is looking forward to increasing her design and marketing skills as well as getting to work with Crimson’s talented team of designers!
