Moody, swanky, and everything in between. Fairfax Boutique clubhouse mixes upscale amenities and luxurious materials in a smaller, more intimate format. An extension of “home,” Fairfax Boutique is nestled in Grandview Heights, Ohio, just minutes away from downtown Columbus.
Our client wanted the space to feel dark and intimate, and eliminated all recessed can lighting in the clubhouse, which made selecting ambient and task lighting even more strategic and important. The smaller clubhouse format was tricky in terms of creating intimate spaces that still felt open to one another, however the finished space feels like a cozy hotel lobby exploding with bold colors and patterns.
Fairfax Boutique is a standout space as a whole, however our favorite design element are the moulding panels in the leasing space. By recessing upholstered fabric panels in the center, we were able to add another layer and more depth with these panels. The unique navy and gold printed fabric from a favorite vendor, Zak + Fox, was the perfect touch to elevate the space.
