Our longtime collaborative partner, Preferred Living, approached us with an exciting proposition: to design not one, not two, but three completely distinct clubhouses for their newest project, The Highlands, a brand new luxury neighborhood with a glamorous, resort like feel that offers the best in hospitality and amenities.
Each clubhouse would have to have its own character and unique design aesthetic, while staying true to Preferred’s brand. For Luxe at The Highlands, we chose a refined palette of cream, plum, and brushed metallics to serve as the foundation for the clubhouse’s design. In the foyer we worked with Fairfield Woodworks to design two elegant, cerused wood front desks. The entry way features two custom built doors upholstered in a cream leather, that lead to the clubhouse’s movie theater. In the clubhouse kitchen, we installed starburst chandeliers that bring to mind a glamorous New York City hotel. We designed a kitchen island that features brushed brass details and a marble countertop. Throughout the space, details are key. In the lounge, dove colored couches are placed beneath mercury glass chandeliers. As residents commune in the space, they’ll be delighted by the Art Deco inspired wall covering that panels the ceiling. As they step over the threshold of this room, their eyes may be drawn to the herringbone pattern in the flooring. Replete with layered textures and lush fabrics, Luxe at The Highlands sets a new standard of luxury for multifamily clubhouses.
