Our client wanted help in establishing their brand identity, using The Gardens at Easton as their flagship property. We identified their brand aesthetic as being light, airy, fresh, a bit rustic, a bit traditional, and of course, inspired by nature. Their company’s signature color is a deep navy blue, so we decided to use that as a neutral base upon which to build the rest of the club house’s design.
We painted the paneled walls of the main sitting area navy. We designed rustic, hand hewn timbers for the club house’s vaulted ceiling, emphasizing the height and airiness of the space. Throughout the club house, we placed unexpected black and white patterns that contrast beautifully with rich, emerald and lime colored fabrics that bring lively pops of color and personality to the room. We wanted the clubhouse to be a place for kicking back, playing, and socializing, with distinct living areas. We made sure to create lounge areas with plenty of plush couches and chairs to sink into, a row of custom designed benches surrounding a bespoke pool table, a custom wall partition made of rope and v-groove shiplap, a business center, and a kitchen, complete with an island. To top it all off, we devised a living greenery installation in collaboration with Oakland Nursery, a feature which has since become a signature element of all of this client’s club houses!
