Rooted in the classic style of Preferred Living apartments, Sheldon Park incorporates elements of whimsy and the unexpected throughout the clubhouse, while the palette is bold in shades of gemstones. We were tasked with incorporating all programming elements into the compact clubhouse floor plan. . . challenge accepted! The face of the leasing desk was the standout design element; we stacked reading books to create visual interest with a familiar object. It created a boutique feel; something you may see in a European hotel. We wanted to create a memorable visual moment at entry; something that really grabs attention and draws you in. The end result is a piece of art! Creating a communal business center required early coordination to run power to the custom table. The end result was a more contemporary, collaborative take on the traditional business center. The space succeeded in creating a bold yet welcoming feeling for tenants to call ‘home.’
