Stepping into the Kendall Park clubhouse should feel like you are entering a warm and artfully-inspired hotel, curated for the perfect stay. Standout pops of color paired with traditional elements, fun wallpapering, and a variety of custom furniture, the design team at Crimson skillfully produced breathtaking results that both our client and their residents are sure to enjoy each and every time they step through the front door.
A few keywords that were front of mind when developing the space were traditional, vintage-inspired, and familiar. Keeping these elements in mind while also creating a shared, collaborative space accomplished this goal and then some.
Maintaining a thoughtful flow of the space was something that the designers had to keep in mind while working in this smaller layout. The lower ceilings and columns encouraged the designers to get creative with unique elements to maintain the flow of the space while staying true to the building’s architectural familiar, cozy feeling. One of the key elements in maintaining that feeling was the plaid ceiling design. The contrasting shades of blue and green add so much depth and personality to this smaller-scale clubhouse.
While seated at the custom-designed bar for a relaxing drink with friends, be sure to take note of the oversized red lantern pendants above you. These pendants were inspired by one of our favorite NYC hotel bars… Who wouldn’t want to imagine themselves grabbing a drink in the big apple?!
Kendall residents can enjoy each and every detailed element that informs the overall design and vibe of the clubhouse. We are excited to hear stories of residents enjoying this beautiful space for years to come!
